My influences include Katsushika Hokusai, Hishikawa Moronobu and Kitagawa Utamaro (ukiyo-e - pictures of the floating world/wood block artists), Koga Harue, Yumiko Kayukawa (surrealism) and more modern artists such as Chiho Aoshima, Makoto Muramatsu, Yoshitomo Nara and Akira Toriyama (digital art/manga). Tenkaikei - The Inversion

This captivating artwork features a geisha, ethereal and enigmatic, delicately playing a mandolin amidst a backdrop of swirling shadows and ghostly figures. Her intricate kimono, adorned with intricate motifs, flows like wisps of smoke, while the pale hues of her skin contrast with the vibrant depths of the surrounding darkness.
